Missouri’s Amendment 3 is a clear vote for common sense: protect children from harmful, sterilizing medical procedures and assure parental rights.
Too often, public schools keep parents in the dark while minors and then they are are steered toward puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgeries they cannot fully understand — and may later regret. Adults should not rush kids into decisions that can leave them infertile, medically dependent, or permanently altered.
Amendment 3 does practical things Missouri families can stand behind:
Bans transgender medical procedures for minors
Guarantees women access to safe healthcare
Requires parental consent before a minor has an abortion
